A little about me.
Owner Ed started painting as a kid, working weekends and summers alongside his father, a New York State Trooper who painted homes as a second job. That early experience laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and doing the job right.
With over 25 years of experience in home renovations and painting, Ed brings an eye for detail and a dedication to making worn, tired spaces look beautiful again. Renu Painting specializes in interior and exterior painting, deck refinishing, and small carpentry jobs, serving the Hudson Valley with pride.

What brand of paint do you use for interior?
We use Benjamin Moore interior latex paint for our interior painting projects.
How often should I paint my house or stain my deck?
It depends on several factors including weather, sun direction & paint quality. You always want to paint BEFORE an issue starts - this could be as little as 3 years or as long as 15 years. Please reach out to an expert for an exact estimate.
Do I need to move my furniture or will you take care of it?
We ask that you remove all personal items and knick knacks upfront and then we will move the furniture and cover completely before painting.
Do you remove wallpaper and what does it cost?
Yes we do remove wallpaper but the cost is on a case by case basis depending on whether the wallpaper was properly applied.
